Would you like to sell your coin collection or estate?
Then you have come to the right place at Europost. For our international clientele we are always looking for coin collections. This could be your complete collection of Juliana and Beatrix coins or a world collection in 100 albums. We are interested in historical coins, such as provincial, Greek or Roman coins as well as modern coins and medals that have been supplied by various publishers and mints, nationally and internationally. Whether the coin is made of bronze, nickel, silver or gold, Europost gives it a value. This also means that we take a serious look at that old jar of coins that you found while clearing out a house. A large or small object, we take the time for it! We can pay a market-conform price for almost every party.
Euro coins: On various websites, such as Etsy, high prices are asked for so-called rare euro coins. Unfortunately, our experience is that you will not find a rare euro coin in your wallet or piggy bank. So no need to offer us any individual euro coins. Of course, we are interested in collections of special euro coins that have not been in circulation, often stored in blisters, coin cards or cassettes.
Security and a higher price
With us, you know immediately where you stand. The price we offer you is in many cases approximately 40% higher than when selling via an auction house. With us, you receive a net price, without any further costs. Selling via an auction means uncertainty about the proceeds and whether everything will be sold. In many cases, a rosier proceeds are promised in advance, but without any guarantee. Between the time of delivery and payment at an auction, it can take up to 6 months.
At Europost we value where you are, and if you are interested you will receive a market-based offer immediately! You know immediately where you stand.
So why wait, to usually receive a lower price?
Calculation example for sales via an auction:
If the buyer is willing to pay €1000,- at an auction then his bid is only €800,-! Because for the buyer the auction costs of 25% are added.
This way the buyer arrives at a purchase amount of € 1000,- (€ 800,- + 25% = € 1000,-). However, the seller does not receive those € 800,- in his hands, the seller also deducts 10 to 25% in auction costs.
The seller will therefore receive an amount between €6 and €600 approximately 720 weeks after the auction.
Would you like to sell us your coins?
Please contact us by phone in advance! Where possible, we will try to give you an estimated price of the proceeds in advance. But we also try to prevent you from visiting our store for nothing. You can also send us the coin collection, after which you will receive the final offer by phone. If you agree, the agreed amount will be transferred. If you do not agree, we will return the collection to you.
About 70% of the coin collections offered at Europost, and for which there is interest, are bought by us! If that is not proof. Convince yourself and make an appointment.
All our in-store appraisals are free. For large objects we also come to your home in the Netherlands and Belgium. Before we come, it is important that we get a good idea of the collections. Costs will be charged for an appraisal at your home. These costs are based on the distance and time we spend on this. If we reach an agreement, you will never pay any costs!
